We are getting today’s picks out early, so there are a ton of questionable players prior to morning shoot arounds. We also don’t any have Vegas lines out yet to share. All that being said, we feel great about this group of targets, with plenty of bargain players and a couple clear cut studs.
Hopefully the trade deadline doesn’t obliterate these picks.
DraftKings Price – $7,900
This feels like a spot that Kyrie could really get rolling again. No John Wall, he got a full week off to rest his quad, and then only had to play 20 minutes on Tuesday.
DraftKings Price – $5,500
Just keep riding him until he cools off, which I don’t see happening until Lonzo is back. Over his last three, Hart has gone 10x, 9x, 9x. The most impressive stat is the rebounding… He’s averaging 12 RPG over that stretch, and has been in double figures in all three contests.
DraftKings Price – $3,500
You have to think that the Belinelli trade is just clearing the way for the Hawks to get Dorsey more minutes. He isn’t a guy that is going to consistently get you a ton of rebounds, or defensive points, but he is a more than capably playmaker and phenomenal scorer, so 15/6/3 is a realistic target for him if he continues to see 20+ minutes moving forward. The Magic are a very favorable PG/SG matchup.
DraftKings Price – $8,800
If either Westbrook or Anthony can’t go, George is going to see a sizable bump in usage in arguably the best possible matchup with the Lakers. LA leads the league in pace and gives up the 7th most PPG to opposing small forwards. PG comes in red hot, having gone for 62+ in two of his last four games.
DraftKings Price – $5,700
Hezonja was already all over our radar with Air Gordon out, but if Simmons is out as well he is an absolute lock. Heading into tonight’s contest, he has reached value in 4 of his last 5. It probably would have been five straight if Simmons didn’t randomly go off for 30+ on Tuesday.
DraftKings Price – $6,600
The Thunder are getting shredded by opposing Power Forwards this season, and it got even worse last week. In four games last week, opposing power forwards averaged 62 PPG against OKC. Randle has been within a point of 5x value on DraftKings in 7 of his last 8 games.
DraftKings Price – $4,400
O’Quinn has been extremely productive in limited minutes this season, and should see a major role moving forward without KP and no Kanter tonight. O’Quinn is averaging over 1 DraftKings point per minute, and should see at least 25+ minutes per game moving forward. The matchup is irrelevant, but it is favorable given that the center position is and has been Toronto’s defensive weak spot for some time. Sorry Jonas.
DraftKings Price – $5,700
Speaking of Jonas… Valanciunas is en fuego and underpriced right now. His season average is nearly 5x his current price, and he has hit that value marker in 7 of 8 and 8 of 10. Obviously the depth issue that forces O’Quinn into a starring role also means Jonas will see little resistance tonight and should be a lock to push 6x again.
