Top NBA Plays for FanDuel Monday Night Contests
FanDuel Salary – $4,300
There is nothing sexy about starting a daily fantasy article out with Donald Sloan, but he’s a solid value play tonight. Sloan has been in the 5-6x value range in 6/10 games, put up 32 on the Pistons in January, and has been over 25 mpg over the last 3 weeks. While Detroit only gives up 41.4 PPG to opposing point guards on the season (14th least per game) they have allowed 44+ over the past three weeks.
FanDuel Salary – $8,200 and $7,300
Generally speaking, the shooting guard position is not one we spend a lot of money on… Shooting guards tend to be scoring dependent with less usage than PG’s and less versatility than SF’s. We are making an exception tonight with DeRozan and Middleton. Both guys have phenomenal matchups (Denver and Sacramento are 29 and 30 in fantasy points allowed to SG) and the position is horrible outside of these two tonight. I don’t expect to get 6x out of their combined $16,100 salary, but the question is will the scarcity at the position create enough of an advantage to warrant $16k…. I think so.
FanDuel Salary – $10,700
This is the first time this season Durant has made one of our articles. No real reason, he’s a fine cash game player, but on the night’s we have given out lineups we just preferred other players. However, given the Wizards play against opposing wing players this season, we love this matchup at home. Westbrook has been just average against Wall, but Durant has been great against Washington scoring 30+ in 9 of their last 14 meetings. He has only reached 5x value in 3 of his last 10 games, but we think there is a chance he hits 6x value for his $10,700 salary tonight.
FanDuel Salary – $7,500
For those of you that follow our articles, you know that I’m a big fan of stat-sheet-stuffers in uptempo matchups. More possessions means more opportunities for Giannis… He’s especially appealing if Cousins misses tonight, which could force the Kings to play small, even more uptempo, and likely lower their shooting percentage.
FanDuel Salary – $4,100
We are expecting a bounce-back game from Cauley-Stein with or without Boogie in the lineup tonight. He will likely face Parker or Monroe, neither guy is someone that can keep him off of the offensive and defensive glass. WCS had hit 5x value in 6 of 7 games heading into last week, and we expect him to get back to that number tonight.
FanDuel Salary – $6,300
We like a few guys at the Center spot on FanDuel tonight, but it came down to Jokic and Zaza for the sake of this article. Jokic has slightly higher value upside, but given the fact that Dirk is going to miss tongiht, Zaza is a safe bet to reach 5x value. In fact he averages exactly 5x (30 FanDuel PPG) when the German sits. ZaZa seems to always get up to face his old team (last two meetings below), so look for him to be extremely active against the Hawks tonight. Atlanta struggles to defend the center position allowing over 48 PPG to the position on the season and over 50 PPG over the last three weeks.
