Our Top NBA Plays for Wednesday Night
FanDuel Salary – $7,000
Ish Smith at home against the NBA’s worst scoring defense, giving up nearly 112 PPG on the road this season, is a lock. Smith has been in the 5x-7x range in 6 of his last 10 games, and has averaged over 5x against the Kings in under 30 mpg over the past year.
FanDuel Salary – $10,700
Harden is a rare $10,000+ player that consistently hits 5x value, and does so at a position that is generally hard to find value at. Houston faced Portland at home last week, and Harden went for 33/8/3/3/1, but had 10 turnovers that ruined what would have been a solid night. We think he goes for 30 again tonight, and fixes the assist-to-turnover ratio making him a solid bet for 6x value in a great wing matchup.
FanDuel Salary – $4,200
Moore has saw his minutes and usage skyrocket without Jimmy Butler over the last two weeks. He has reached value in 3 of his last 4, and tonight faces a Hawks defense that struggles defending the 2,3, and 5 positions. Our guess is that he will likely see Bazemore for the majority of the night, with a little bit of Kyle Korver thrown in. Neither guy is a scary matchup, and neither guy is going to put Moore into foul trouble himself. Look for another 32 minute, 6x value game out of Moore at home tonight.
FanDuel Salary – $4,900
It was just a matter of time before Johnson got the opportunity to become a DFS-monster. Johnson will consistently provide value in four statistical categories, thanks to how active he is on both ends of the floor. This is his first plus-matchup as a starter, and we are predicting Johnson has the best game of his career at home, against the Nuggets tonight.
FanDuel Salary – $6,300
We are seeing Ryan Hollins’ name thrown around a lot this morning, and he is a decent boom-or-bust play, however, I think it’s Randolph who’s value jumps the most with Gasol out. Hollins won’t play with the ball in his hands, so the Memphis half-court offense is much more likely to run through Randolph on the block. Coming off back-to-back solid performances, and in a great matchup, the added usage couldn’t come at a better time.
FanDuel Salary – $10,600
It’s rare that we pay up for two $10,000+ players, but with Harden and Cousins both in plus matchups and plenty of value tonight, we are making an exception. Cousins kills the 76ers and after a rough game at Cleveland on Monday night, he’s due for a monster game in Philly.
