NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Friday, November 3rd

Friday night means a full slate of NBA games, and a much better variance in lineups and ownership % compared to what we saw in last night’s two game slate. With a ton of pace and favorable matchups available, it should be a high scoring night on both FanDuel and DraftKings so the stakes are high when building your lineup. You can’t afford to miss on a player in a slate like this.

Before jumping into our picks for tonight, here is a look at tonight’s top team totals from Vegas:

Teams to Target Rankings

  1. Brooklyn
  2. Phoenix
  3. Orlando
  4. LA Lakers
  5. Philadelphia
  6. Golden State
  7. New Orleans
  8. Washington
  9. Atlanta
  10. Indiana
  11. Minnesota
  12. Miami

The teams to target rankings found to the right is something we will add to every NBA article moving forward. It is a ranking of the top 12 fantasy matchups by team. This obviously doesn’t take into effect the individual matchup research you should be doing for each player/position, but it does give you an idea of which teams in each slate you should look to target.

These 12 teams have the combination of high pace and poor defensive efficiency that we look for. Team pace often times gets misused, players that play for high-pace teams already have their stats adjusted for the added possessions, we really want to target players that will have their number of opportunities significantly increased by facing a team with above average pace and below average defensive efficiency.

Our Favorite Plays for the November 3rd NBA Slate

Lonzo Ball

FanDuel Price – $7,500
DraftKings Price – $7,300
Lonzo has suffered through some poor shooting nights in a really tough stretch of matchups, but should get a chance to get rolling in an extremely favorable PG matchup with Brooklyn.

Frank Ntilikina

FanDuel Price – $4,500
DraftKings Price – $4,000
We are buying in on the Frank Ntilinka hype. Get this man minutes. Particularly great matchup tonight, and looks like he could be one of the best stat-stuffing guards in this league.

Bradley Beal

FanDuel Price – $8,000
DraftKings Price – $7,400
Bradley Beal has been on fire, and gets a matchup with a Cavs team that has no answer for 2’s and 3’s right now. They have given up back-to-back-to-back-to-back massive games to shooting guards, and will likely prove little resistance to Beal tonight.

Danny Green

FanDuel Price – $5,800
DraftKings Price – $4,900
Danny Green is another of our favorite DFS plays when he’s rolling, because he can get you 15-20 PPG, but doesn’t need to to be fantasy relevant. He’s going to rebound, give you steals and blocks, and rack up assists in the Spurs system… he should be able to score tonight against a Hornets team that is actually giving up more fantasy PPG to 2’s than Cleveland.

Lebron James

FanDuel Price – $10,600
DraftKings Price – $10,600
Lebron feasts on Washington, and the Wiz are playing much faster and with less defensive efficiency than in recent years. LBJ averaged over 52 PPG in three games against Wash last year.

Brandon Ingram

FanDuel Price – $5,900
DraftKings Price – $6,000
Ingram has turned in three straight solid performances, despite a less than favorable stretch of games. Nothing is more favorable than Brooklyn. Look for him to get his usual 32-35 minutes, and to put up about a point per minute.

Anthony Davis

FanDuel Price – $11,400
DraftKings Price – $11,200
Like James, Davis faces perhaps his favorite opponent tonight in the Mavericks. AD averaged over 56 FanDuel PPG against the Mavs last season, and Dallas is once again one of the big-friendliest matchups in the league.

Domantas Sabonis

FanDuel Price – $5,600
DraftKings Price – $6,300
Sabonis has been on a tear and is way underpriced on FanDuel. He has been in the 7x value range for 5 of his last 6 games, including three straight.

Clint Capela

FanDuel Price – $7,700
DraftKings Price – $6,900
Capela may be slightly overpriced, but he should be underowned and has arguably the best center matchup available.
