Targets for Friday Night Contests on DraftKings
|San Antonio||LA Lakers||106|
|LA Clippers||New York||43|
DraftKings Price – $10,600
Westbrook has looked great this month, and is coming off a game where he put up 57 DraftKings points in 27 minutes of playing time. He’s likely to see his usual 35-40 minutes in a Western Conference road game, and given his recent run against the Mavericks, we don’t see anyway he finishes under 60 on DK tonight. He has averaged over 60 PPG against the Mavs over the last season plus, and it doesn’t seem likely that Deron Williams, J.J. Barea and co slow him down tonight.
DraftKings Price – $7,400
Kay kills Indiana, averaging over 39 PPG against the Pacers over the past two season. Monte Ellis and co are giving up 35 PPG to opposing SG’s, the 7th most in the league. Thompson hasn’t hit 5x value in 2 weeks, but we know that just means he is due for a 50 point explosion, and this looks like the spot for it to happen.
DraftKings Price – $6,500
Like his teammate Jared Sullinger, Crowder is a great way to bank 5-6x value every night. Over his 10 game log, Crowder has gone over 5x value 7 times. He didn’t shoot well when the Celtics played the Bulls 2 weeks ago, but still managed to put up 36.5 DraftKings points. This game is in Boston where Crowder tends to shoot better and Bradley is back for this matchup which should move Crowder off of Butler for at least a portion of this meeting.
DraftKings Price – $4,700
Jabari Parker is the safer pick here and a great cash game play, but if you are looking to take a shot on someone, we like Terrence Jones. There is no denying he has taken a step back this year after a breakout season last year, but Jones has still been consistently solid without Howard on the floor this season (game log below). The Bucks allow the 6th most PPG to opposing PF’s this season, so given the bump in minutes and usage we expect a 35+ point performance out of Jone on DraftKings.
DraftKings Price – $6,400
Again, DeAndre Jordan makes more sense, is a safe cash game play, but if you are looking to take a shot on a guy capable of putting up monster numbers, Gobert is your guy. He was a $8,000+ player when healthy earlier this season because he has 50 point upside every night and had two 46+ points earlier this week. The Nets remain the 4th best center matchup in the league giving up 48.8 PPG.
DraftKings Price – $3,000
Daily fantasy players know McCallum all too well… He’s capable of filling a stat sheet in a hurry, and should have no problem hitting 7x value in 25+ minutes against the Lakers tonight. At the minimum salary $3,000, starting for Tony Parker, and facing the Lakers who by far give up the most DraftKings PPG to opposing point guards, he’s our value lock of the night.
DraftKings Price – $6,100
Elfrid finally looked like Elfrid again on Wednesday night, and, assuming Oladipo is ruled out, we are going to chase that performance again tonight. Payton was solid against the Hornets last season, had a 32 point DraftKings game against them in December, and in general should be able to do what he wants against Kemba and Lin which is arguably the worst defensive backcourt in the NBA.
