Nearly every DFS player starts their NFL lineups with a stack, so it would stand to reason that your success each week is tied directly to your ability to identify the right stacks to target. Below are our favorite week 12 stacks, and all four happen to be solid bargain picks as well.
Jared Goff | Cooper Kupp | Sammy Watkins
Combined Price: FanDuel – $13,000 | DraftKings – $11,700
It feels weird to write that we have been (somewhat) avoiding the Saints defense as of late, but New Orleans has controlled time of possession and their defense is clearly vastly improved. That being said, the secondary is banged up, will be without lockdown rookie corner Marshon Lattimore and fellow starting corner Ken Crawley. Cupp and Watkins should both have huge days in what should be one of the higher scoring games of the day.
Marcus Mariota | Delanie Walker
Combined Price: FanDuel – $13,700 | DraftKings – $11,300
We have been targeting ‘pass funnel defenses’ since before it was a thing, and the Colts are the most favorable pass funnel defenses in the league. The Colts DVOA is in the bottom 5 vs opposing tight ends, so the game plan should include a hefty dose of Delanie Walker who turned 9 targets into 6/92 last week. We are also high on Corey Davis who get a prime matchup with the Colts struggling corner, Pierre Desir.
Paxton Lynch | Demaryius Thomas
Combined Price: FanDuel – $13,000 | DraftKings – $10,100
You aren’t going to find a cheaper, lower owned QB/WR stack with more upside on either site. The Broncos likely won’t want to lean too heavily on the passing game in Lynch’s first start, but the Raiders’ pass defense has been completely inept all season. They are yet to intercept a pass and gave up 311 yards with 3/0 to Jay Cutler just three weeks ago. Thomas should see added work with Emmanuel Sanders unable to log a full practice all week and both of the Broncos tight ends on the IR.
Jacoby Brissett | TY Hilton
Combined Price: FanDuel – $14,500 | DraftKings – $12,100
This should be an uptempo, high scoring game between two teams that are stop the run while struggling to run themselves. Take the over. T.Y. Hilton has obliterated opposing secondaries in home games this season, flashing one of the highest ceilings in the NFL. Brissett has been putting up solid numbers in bad matchups recently so this favorable home matchup should be a site for sore eyes.
