Top FanDuel NBA Targets for Friday
FanDuel Price – $7,600
Jrue’s usage rate has been off the charts without Gordon and Evans on the floor for the Pelicans. In fact over the past 5 games he has by-far led the NBA in usage. This should be an uptempo, high scoring game between two of the faster, defensively inefficient teams in the NBA. We expect a 50+ point performance from Holiday tonight.
FanDuel Price – $5,400
Archie remains vastly underpriced on FanDuel, as I think we are just scratching the surface of his potential. The Rockets have been a top 5 PG matchup all season, and Goodwin should benefit from not having to guard Harden. He’s our value lock of the night and is in the majority of our FanDuel lineups tonight.
FanDuel Price – $10,800
If you subscribe or follow our picks, you are likely sick of seeing Harden every week. We use Harden 90% of the time he’s available, for several reasons. First, because of his role on the Rockets and ability to contribute in every statistical category, he’s the most consistent player priced above $10,000. Second, he plays a position that tends to be the weak spot in most daily fantasy basketball lineups. This allows you to play mid-level or value players at positions where they are easier to find. He’s a no-brainer play tonight against the Suns who have been terrible in defending the 2-guard all season.
FanDuel Price – $5,200
Obviously the matchup with Dallas is about as bad as it gets, but a quick glance over Fournier’s last 10 games puts that worry to rest. His biggest nights have come against the Spurs, Hawks, Clippers, Celtics and Grizzlies. He’s just about matchup proof and should see a bump in usage with Tobias Harris now in Detroit.
FanDuel Price – $4,800
The Heat will be without Bosh and Whiteside tonight, and we expect Deng to be the recipient of the added usage. Deng has seen his usage climb by more than 5% in games without both players. Combine that with the fact that he was playing some of his best ball of the season before the break, and Luol is a great value-play against the Hawks tonight.
FanDuel Price – $6,600
Zebo is playing his best basketball of the season, and will continue to see his role and usage in the Grizzlies offense increase with Gasol out for the season. Tonight’s matchup with Minnesota, the league’s 8th worst scoring defense, is obviously favorable. Look for Randolph to go over 5x value for the 5th time in his last 6 games.
FanDuel Price – $10,600
With Harden and Cousins both in extremely favorable matchups, we are paying up for 2 studs tonight. The Nuggets give up 48 PPG to opposing centers on the season, and gave up an absurd 66+ per game in the week leading up to the all star break. As you can see in his game log below, Cousins tends to enjoy playing the Nuggets.
