Week 10 FanDuel and DraftKings QB Plays

PlayerOpponentFanDuel PriceDraftKings Price
Matthew StaffordCleveland$8,200$6,800
Brock OsweilerNew England$6,000$4,400

We all know better than loading up on one player, but it’s going to be hard not to be all in on Stafford today. He’s been red hot over the past month, particularly good at home, and gets his best matchup of the season this week. The Browns are giving up nearly 20 fantasy PPG to opposing quarterbacks, but are giving up the second highest QB rating and have given up a 16/5 TD/INT ratio on the year.

If you are looking to go value at the QB position, I think you have to look to Brock Osweiler. The Pats continue to struggle tremendously with pass defense… They are bottom five in yards per game, completion percentage, QB rating, and dead last in fantasy PPG. Osweiler is at home and the weather looks like it will hold up in Denver tonight (mid 40’s no precipitation).

Week 10 FanDuel and DraftKings RB Plays

PlayerOpponentFanDuel PriceDraftKings Price
Le’Veon BellIndianapolis$6,800$8,200
Jordan HowardGreen Bay$7,200$6,100
Duke JohnsonDetroit$5,500$4,100

Le’Veon Bell should be an extremely chalk high-priced play this week, but you have to target him given the volume of touches he has seen over the past month (35 opp/game) and the matchup. 35 touches against the Colts, indoors, should result in a season high 40+ points for Bell today as the Colts give up nearly 1 fantasy point per touch to non Le’Veon Bell backs.

Jordan Howard is another higher priced RB that is in line for a season high game. The Packers are extremely beat up on both sides of the ball, can’t control time of possession what-so-ever, and Chicago’s offensive game plan is flat out feeding Howard the ball right now (just under 30 opp/game over last 3).

The Browns will likely be down early and forced to throw against a Lions defense that has done a great job against the run this season. Detroit has been especially good vs the run in games where rookie MLB Jarrad Davis has been healthy, and he’s in the lineup this week. Look for Johnson to be a popular check down target in a favorable indoors uptempo matchup.

Week 10 FanDuel and DraftKings WR Plays

PlayerOpponentFanDuel PriceDraftKings Price
Golden TateNew England$7,400$6,800
Sterling ShepardSan Francisco$5,700$5,500
Martavis BryantNew England$5,200$3,900

While Marvin Jones is the most likely receiver to find the end zone, Golden Tate is dominating targets for the Lions this season. Marvin should draw the top CB matchup on the outside, leaving Tate to work on the weakest part of this Browns defense.

Sterling Shepard produced in a tough matchup in his first game back, and gets an extremely favorable matchup in week 10. The 49ers are 26th in DVOA vs opposing slot receivers, and will clearly have their hands full with a slot receiver that should lead his team in targets.

Look for the Steelers to target Bryant deep early and often against a Colts team that far and away gives up the most big passing plays in the NFL. Tomlin has hinted all week that the Steelers need Bryant’s explosiveness and big plays in the lineup, and I think they get him involved early by taking some deep shots.

Week 10 FanDuel and DraftKings TE Plays

PlayerOpponentFanDuel PriceDraftKings Price
Cameron BrateNY Jets$5,700$4,100
Eric EbronCleveland$5,300$3,100

Cam Brate gets what is the top TE matchup in the NFL this week, and he does so without Evans in the lineup. He should see a season high workload in a matchup with a Jets team that has given up 75+ yards and a touchdown to the position over the past month.

Ebron is slowly coming on in Detroit, and should be heavily involved in today’s matchup with what has been the most TE-friendly defense this season. The Browns will likely be able to contain Detroit’s anemic run game, so look for Ebron, Tate, and Riddick, to supplement the run game in the short to intermediate passing game. This should be Ebron’s most productive game of the 2017 season.
