Point Guards

Ricky Rubio

DraftKings Price – $6,700

I don’t know how you don’t start him at this point… he’s hit 6x value for about a month straight now. The matchup with Memphis may not look great on a macro level, but keep in mind they are rolling out pure garbage at the PG position right now with Conley hurt and Evans sidelined in hopes for a trade. Rubio won’t have to defend and Utah should be able to dictate tempo in this one.

Dejounte Murray

DraftKings Price – $5,800

I admittedly have a soft spot for Murray. He was my favorite player in the 2016 draft class, and somehow fell to the Spurs at pick 29. He’s been ‘coached up’ by Pop for two seasons, and is finally blossoming into the star the Spurs need him to be right now. The Suns are starting a G league backcourt, particularly if Booker is out again tonight, making Murray a solid bet to have another well rounded night.

Jeff Teague

DraftKings Price – $5,700

For the second straight night, we are going to pick on Isaiah Thomas. He’s the best matchup in daily fantasy sports right now, and Teague loves facing him. In three games against Thomas and the Celtics last season, Teague averaged 40 DraftKings ppg. He doesn’t have the same ceiling in Minnesota’s system, but should still get you 6x his $5,700 salary tonight.

Shooting Guards

Stanley Johnson

DraftKings Price – $4,700

Don’t look now, but Stanley Johnson is getting minutes and producing… He’s reached value in 7 of his last 8 games, is in the starting lineup, and contributing across the board. This matchup with the Nets is certainly beatable, and Johnson put up 18 points against them two weeks ago.

Small Forwards

Josh Richardson

DraftKings Price – $5,900

It tried and tried, but for whatever reason can’t get away from Richardson in this slate. He has been at or just under 6x value in 6 of his last 10 and his floor has been above 4x value over that stretch. He should push 6x + tonight in a top 10 positional matchup, with a team that obviously plays with pace, at home, and in a game where his team will need his scoring to keep up.

DeMarre Carroll

DraftKings Price – $5,500

I tried getting behind Mbah a Moute at just $4,000, but he struggled in a slower paced game with Miami two weeks ago. Carrol has been consistently hitting value, and should see a ton of minutes tonight if both Acy and Lavert are out. The Pistons aren’t a sexy matchup at a glance, but the SF position is the one spot the struggle, giving up second most DraftKings PPG to the position over the past four weeks.

Power Forwards

Nikola Mirotic

DraftKings Price – $

We are targeting both players in the Pelicans frontcourt tonight. While the Pacers don’t play with a ton of pace (middle of the league) they are a bottom 10 team in defensive efficiency, bottom 10 in rebounding efficiency, and are particularly bad against opposing bigs. Mirotic shouldn’t be too heavily owned in this slate given his quiet game against the Jazz, but that was the Jazz and this matchup is at home and clearly much more favorable.

Taj Gibson

DraftKings Price – $5,700

Taj Gibson is a bit of a bully and has to be licking his chops at the chance to play against this Cavs frontcourt… which is leaning heavily on the baby deer aka Tristan Thompson and Channing Frye. Gibson is certainly matchup dependent, but hit 7x his current salary in the Wolves first matchup with the Cavs.

Centers

Anthony Davis

DraftKings Price – $11,600

The big money spend of the night is AD… maybe it’s chalk, but who cares? He is facing the third worst DvP for centers, had 60+ in 3 of 4 before meeting the Jazz in his last game, and is playing without Boogie which should mean an eventual return to that crazy 100 point ceiling he had in the previous few seasons.
